I'm an LVN injured @ work with excruciating pain in my left arm & fingers numbness. For a year, I had physical therapy, home exercices, pain meds, steroid injection in my neck, nothing helps, still working even with intolerable pain. They sent me to see Dr. Hannani, after examining my MRI, he noticed that my cervical 5-6-7 where affected (the radiology report only mentioned one level). He suggested surgery with 80% recovery, that was way better than the pain in my left arm. I had surgery 10/18/11 the same day after surgery I DID NOT FEEL PAIN in my left arm, although I was having post-op pain from shoulder to shoulder which requires pain med, I completely forgot my left arm. 9 months since my surgery, I'm doing fine able to turn my head 90% without discomfort, I drive 120 miles a day for work. I can honestly say I have never had a doctor fight for me as much as Dr Hannani. Dr Hannani caught things in my MRI that would if given me permanent nerve damage on my left side. The insurance company would not approve the surgery Dr Hannani had to do. Dr Hannani would not give up on me. He fought and fought. They finally approved the surgery. I can say that I was living with such pain for 3 years. I would recommend Dr. Hannani as a spine specialist to anyone. My back is healing great, no nerve damage. I forgot what it felt like to be almost pain free. Yes there sometimes is a wait at his office, but as a patient I'm glad to know he will take his time and answer any questions I may have. This office didn't treat me as a number, this office treated me as a patient that was in need . If it wasn't for this office and Dr. Hannani looking out for my best interest, I could of been living in such excruciating pain for the rest of my life. Bottom line is.... So I’ll start my review by saying my back was pretty messed up. I herniated my L5 and it was crushing my S1 nerve root causing the worst Sciatica pain I’ve ever experienced in my life. It was such a blessing that I found Dr Hannani. The staff he has working for him at his office are all friendly and they answer any questions you made have. I spoke with Eddie who helped me with all my appointments and answered all my questions and concerns prior to surgery. From the first visit I had with Dr. Hannani I felt confident. He explained my whole situation and showed me what needed to be done from looking at my MRI. We requested surgery and I was approved through my workers comp. the process before surgery was easy and the Queen of the Valley hospital took care of me ! I am SO HAPPY that was able to have all of this done and even MORE HAPPY that I was under the care of Dr. Hannani. MY SCIATICA IS GONE. I’ve dealt with this injury for over a year and 8 months. It still baffles my mind that I was living with this pain and I thought that was gonna be my “normal” forever. I am 8 days post op now and I feel amazing. This was life changing.

After a year of physical therapy, chiropractor and acupuncture it was determined that I needed cervical spine surgery. The first surgeon I encountered literally had me terrified!!! Luckily I opted for a second opinion and was referred to Dr. Hannani. What a difference ....a relief!!! After meeting with him all my questions and concerns were answered in full detail. Cons: The wait times in the waiting room can be long (make your appointments early i. e. 0900 hour)Pros:i) Dr. Hannani is an awesome surgeon and explains all of your options.ii) Liz & Ed are super helpful and friendly.I saw Dr. Hannani after a workplace accident, that left me with pain radiating down to my knees. The company doctor told me I was fine. Dr. H. disagreed. We did PT and exercise. When that did not help, he performed a lumbar discectomy and fusion.He cautioned me that he could get rid of my radiculopathy, but not back pain. I am happy to report that he relieved 90% of my radiating pain and 100% of my back pain.Surgery was the last thing I wanted to have, but I am very happy to haveDr. H and his team perform mine. Dr. Hannani is a very professional & well trained doctor with plenty of years of experience under his belt. My mother received a level 2 transfusion on her lower back. She could not walk, jog, run, bend over or any physical activity that involved her back. Her situation was really horrible & could not stand the pain 24/7. After we meet dr hannani he examed her & knew what he had to do to get her back to her old self again. He talked with alot of confidence which is why i had so much faith that my mother was in good hands. Post surgery she was going through therapy & was making very good progress. A few months later she could now stand up & do alot more activities she wasnt able to do before her surgery. I highly recommend doctor hannani to anybody looking for a spinal surgeon. Incredibly friendly Doctor and staff. I was dealing with horrible lower back and leg pain but was hesitant to go through with surgery and Dr. Hannani was very accommodating. When I finely went with surgery it was possibly the best decision I ever made. He explained everything thoroughly and the surgery went well. An MRI scan had shown I had a bulging disc pinching my sciatic nerve so surgery was the best option for me. Now I have no back or leg pain anymore and the post op therapy has helped me get back to a normal routine. I am confident I wouldn't have found a better Doctor who was understanding and let me try out other treatment plans when I was a bit worried to go through with surgery. July 23rd, 2012 I'm an LVN injured @ work with excruciating pain in my left arm & fingers numbness. For a year, I had physical therapy, home exercices, pain meds, steroid injection in my neck, nothing helps, still working even with intolerable pain. They sent me to see Dr. Hannani, after examining my MRI, he noticed that my cervical 5-6-7 where affected (the radiology report only mentioned one level). He suggested surgery with 80% recovery, that was way better than the pain in my left arm. I had surgery 10/18/11 the same day after surgery I DID NOT FEEL PAIN in my left arm, although I was having post-op pain from shoulder to shoulder which requires pain med, I completely forgot my left arm. 9 months since my surgery, I'm doing fine able to turn my head 90% without discomfort, I drive 120 miles a day for work. My husband & I called Dr. Hannani a "Demi-God", imagined my surgery a 2 levels cervical diskectomy with fusion, he put me back together & I'm pain free that's more than the 80% that he promised. - 7/23/2012

Cons: The wait times in the waiting room can be long (make your appointments early i. e. 0900 hour)Pros:i) Dr. Hannani is an awesome surgeon and explains all of your options.ii) Liz & Ed are super helpful and friendly.I saw Dr. Hannani after a workplace accident, that left me with pain radiating down to my knees. The company doctor told me I was fine. Dr. H. disagreed. We did PT and exercise. When that did not help, he performed a lumbar discectomy and fusion.He cautioned me that he could get rid of my radiculopathy, but not back pain. I am happy to report that he relieved 90% of my radiating pain and 100% of my back pain.Surgery was the last thing I wanted to have, but I am very happy to haveDr. H and his team perform mine. I had an unfortunate accident at work and was treated by other doctors as if I was trying to get advantage of the excruciating pain I experienced in my lower back.
Dr Hannani took the time to examine and diagnose. For the first time in weeks that seemed eternal, I feel I was treated fairly. He ordered physical therapy for a while, explained the risks of my condition and I choose the surgery.

This is a review of my recent office visit/appointment at Dr. Hannani's office. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. After checking in, my wait before being invited into an exam room was short and reasonable. Once in the room, again my wait before Dr. Hannani entered was short and very reasonable. Dr. Hannani was personable, listened to my description of my low back pain and symptoms. He proposed next steps for making a diagnosis and possible treatments depending on findings. I was given an order for X-rays and an MRI. I was instructed to call his office as soon as I had the appt for imaging scheduled so I could then be scheduled for another appointment with Dr. Hannani to review the results. He also listened to my apprehension about getting into an MRI machine and prescribed something to help relax me the day of the appointment. A nice touch. So I’ll start my review by saying my back was pretty messed up. I herniated my L5 and it was crushing my S1 nerve root causing the worst Sciatica pain I’ve ever experienced in my life. It was such a blessing that I found Dr Hannani. The staff he has working for him at his office are all friendly and they answer any questions you made have. I spoke with Eddie who helped me with all my appointments and answered all my questions and concerns prior to surgery. From the first visit I had with Dr. Hannani I felt confident. He explained my whole situation and showed me what needed to be done from looking at my MRI. We requested surgery and I was approved through my workers comp. the process before surgery was easy and the Queen of the Valley hospital took care of me ! I am SO HAPPY that was able to have all of this done and even MORE HAPPY that I was under the care of Dr. Hannani. MY SCIATICA IS GONE. I’ve dealt with this injury for over a year and 8 months. It still baffles my mind that I was living with this pain and I thought that was gonna be my “normal” forever. I am 8 days post op now and I feel amazing. He is a highly trained and skillful physician, very personable, sincere in his desire to correct physical problems that impede one's quality of life. I have suffered with painful back problems since my late teens and finally was almost incapable of ambulating without help while incurring a lot of pain.
